Wrightsville, GA – Vehicle Rollover Accident at GA-78 & Cedar Dr Intersection
Wrightsville, GA (August 5, 2021) – At 11:24 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, August 4, a rollover accident occurred at an intersection in Wrightsville.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-78 and Cedar Drive. Two or more vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. This caused one of the vehicles to immediately overturn. The vehicles involved in the crash were towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was entirely blocked in the westbound lane for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
