Woodstock, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision Leads to Injuries on I-575
Woodstock, GA (August 16, 2021) – Around 8 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 16, a tractor-trailer collision occurred in Woodstock.
According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-575 around the area of the Ridgewalk Parkway. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it forcefully collided with one or more other vehicles. The vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. They were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
