Woodstock, GA – Rollover Accident on Batesville Rd Leads to Injuries
Woodstock, GA (November 1, 2021) – At 5:33 p.m. on Monday evening, November 1, a rollover accident occurred on a roadway in Woodstock.
According to Cherokee County officials, the accident happened on Batesville Road around the area of Birmingham Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the southbound lanes of traffic when they collided with each other, causing one of the vehicles to roll over. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police urged those in the area to use Highway 140 as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
