Winder, GA – Rollover Collision at Hwy 53 & Hwy 11 Intersection
Winder, GA (October 5, 2021) – At 9:55 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, October 5, a rollover collision occurred at an intersection in Winder.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 11. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided with each other, causing one of the vehicles to overturn. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays until police cleared the scene.
