Winder, GA – Car Crash at GA-53 & Mulberry Rd Leads to Injuries
Winder, GA (September 21, 2021) – Before 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 21, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Winder.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-53 and Mulberry Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to collide forcefully with one another. The vehicles were extensively damaged and had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
