Winder, GA – Car Crash at GA-316 & Patrick Mill Rd Leads to Injuries
Winder, GA (January 11, 2022) – Police reported that a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Winder on Tuesday morning, January 11.
Police confirmed that the accident happened at 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of GA-316 and Patrick Mill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders, including Winder fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
