White, GA – Man Killed in Fatal House Fire on High Pointe Dr
White, GA (August 11, 2021) – On Wednesday afternoon, August 11, a man was killed in a fatal house fire in White, Georgia.
According to Bartow County officials, the incident happened in a home on High Pointe Drive around the area of Bells Ferry Road. Fire crews received a 911 call and were dispatched to the scene where they found a two-story home completely engulfed in flames. It took some time for them to get the fire under control.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were present at the scene. An elderly man was found inside the home who was unable to get out in time as a result of the fire. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was blocked off for an extended period of time as the scene was cleared.
No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
