White, GA – Head-on Collision on Hwy 20 at Hawks Farm Rd
White, GA (September 28, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 28, a head-on collision occurred at an intersection in White.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Highway 20 and Hawks Farm Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles collided head-on into one another, which caused extensive front-end damages to both vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
