Walnut Grove, GA – Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Cannon Farm Rd
Walnut Grove, GA (September 26, 2022) – Two people were injured in a car accident that took place on a roadway in Walnut Grove on Monday afternoon, September 26.
According to Walton County officials, the accident happened around 2 p.m. at 1400 Cannon Farm Road near the area of Hillview Drive. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The involved vehicles sustained severe damage as a result of the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Walnut Grove responders were immediately called to the scene. One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by fire crews. A total of two victims, who have not yet been formally identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. They are expected to receive a full recovery.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could return to normal.
