Walnut Grove, GA – Injuries Reported in Serious Car Crash at GA-81
Walnut Grove, GA (December 19, 2021) – On Sunday, December 19, a car crash with injuries occurred on a roadway in Walnut Grove.
According to Walton County Sheriff’s deputies, the accident happened on GA-81. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One victim was seriously injured as a result of the collision. The injured party was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area. Police quickly worked to clear the scene as traffic was detoured.
