Villa Rica, GA – Car Accident with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-20
Villa Rica, GA (June 15, 2021) – At 12 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 15, a car accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Villa Rica.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Liberty Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more people were injured in the accident. The injured victims were raced to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. The scene was quickly cleared by police.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
