Train Accidents in Georgia
When it comes to train-related accidents, there are always major risks. This is due to the fact that trains are some of the largest modes of transportation in the state of Georgia. However, there are more risks when it comes to pedestrians on our tracks. This is due to the fact that pedestrians have no real protection from harm in the event of an accident, especially one involving a train. Since 1997, it was reported that over 7,200 pedestrians were killed in train-related accidents in the U.S. On average, approximately 500 people were killed in fatal pedestrian accidents involving trains.
