Union City, GA – Car Accident with Injuries at GA-138 & Oakley Industrial Blvd
Union City, GA (January 3, 2022) – At least one or more victims sustained injuries in a car accident at an intersection in Union City.
The accident, according to officials, took place at 2:13 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, January 3. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided at the intersection of GA-138 and Oakley Industrial Boulevard. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other Union City responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized in unknown conditions.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time near I-85. This led to delays until police were able to fully clear the scene.
