Union City, GA – Car Accident at Stonewall Tell Rd & Roosevelt Hwy
Union City, GA (August 20, 2021) – At 4:27 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, August 20, a car accident with injuries occurred in Union City.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Stonewall Tell Road and Roosevelt Highway. Two or more vehicles were allegedly driving in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
