Tunnel Hill, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision in SB Lanes of I-75
Tunnel Hill, GA (June 2, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 2, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Tunnel Hill.
According to Catoosa County authorities, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of the welcome center. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. Photographs taken at the scene showed badly damaged vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene. One adult male in a green pickup truck was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries but he is expected to make a full recovery.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police cleared the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
