Tunnel Hill, GA – Five Injured in Three-Vehicle Collision on GA-401
Tunnel Hill, GA (September 21, 2021) – Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 21, a three-vehicle collision occurred in Tunnel Hill.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, the accident happened on GA-401. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they were suddenly involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Five people in the three vehicles were injured in the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals but are expected to be okay.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
