Tunnel Hill, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at GA-201 & New Hope Church Rd
Tunnel Hill, GA (September 28, 2021) – On Tuesday afternoon, September 28, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Tunnel Hill.
According to Whitfield County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-201 and New Hope Church Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured in the collision. The injured parties, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
