Tucker, GA – Serious Car Accident with Injuries on I-285 Near Lavista Rd
Tucker, GA (May 11, 2022) – At 8:26 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, May 11, a car accident with injuries took place on a highway in Tucker.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-285 around the area of exit 37, Lavista Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling on the highway when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not fully known. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed away.
Several local responders, including paramedics, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The parties, who have not yet been identified, were treated at the scene and then rushed to local hospitals for further treatment.
