Tucker, GA – One Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Brockett Rd
Tucker, GA (April 13, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that took place on a roadway in Tucker on Wednesday morning, April 13.
According to local officials, the accident happened around 8:20 a.m. on Brockett Road around the area of the East Ponce De Leon Avenue intersection. The crash took place in front of the Brockett Pub House & Grill Restaurant. An unidentified pedestrian was walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. The driver of the vehicle allegedly remained at the scene of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in front of the restaurant for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays in the area for some time.
