Tucker, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in EB Lanes of GA-29 Leads to Injuries
Tucker, GA (October 14, 2021) – At 8:25 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, October 14, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Tucker.
According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of GA-29 around the area of Cooledge Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. Two or more vehicles sustained heavy front-end damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic as police worked to clear the scene. Police urged those in the area to use Lavista Road as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
