According to police, the accident happened on the Stone Mountain Freeway. An SUV was traveling in the area when the driver struck the median. All of a sudden, a driver in the area slammed into the SUV but kept on driving, never stopping at the scene. This caused extensive damages to the SUV.

Car Accidents in Georgia
Every year, hundreds of thousands of serious collisions happen in the state of Georgia. Though these accidents tend to take on many forms, hit-and-run collisions are some of the most severe. This is due to the fact that a driver flees the scene without stopping to check on the driver or passengers involved in the crash. This means that injured victims could go without medical attention for some time until somebody stops. If you have been hurt in a serious collision that is not your fault, you may be feeling entirely helpless and alone. Injured victims are urged to seek the help of an accident attorney who has their best interests in mind.
