Trion, GA – Two-Vehicle Collision with Injuries at GA-1 & Mtn View Rd
Trion, GA (January 10, 2022) – On Sunday afternoon, January 9, a serious two-vehicle collision with injuries occurred at an intersection in Trion.
Chattooga County officials responded to the scene of the crash, which happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of GA-1 and Mountain View Road. Two vehicles were traveling through the intersection when they forcefully collided with each other. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the collision.
Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims in the involved vehicles sustained injuries as a result of the crash. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
