Trion, GA – Two-Car Accident at Central Ave & Simmons St
Trion, GA (July 20, 2021) – On Tuesday night, July 20, a two-car accident occurred at an intersection in Trion.
According to Trion Police officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Central Avenue and Simmons Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one rear-ended the other. One of the vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe front-end damage as a result of the collision.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
