Trion, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on US-27
Trion, GA (April 2, 2021) – Around 12 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, April 1, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Trion.
According to police, the accident took place on US-27 around the area of the local Walmart. Multiple vehicles collided with each other in the area. One of the vehicles, identified as a white pickup truck, was extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing at this time.
