Trion, GA – Injuries Follow Head-on Collision on E Halls Valley Rd
Trion, GA (October 6, 2021) – Around 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 6, a head-on collision occurred in Trion.
According to Chattooga County officials, the accident happened at 146 East Halls Valley Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when one lost control, slamming into the other head-on. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
