Thomson, GA – Fatal Collision at Dallas Dr & Thomson Bypass
Thomson, GA (May 13, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, May 13, a fatal collision occurred at a Thomson intersection.
According to Georgia State Patrol officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Dallas Drive and Thomson Bypass. Two vehicles collided with each other at the intersection due to unknown reasons. One of the vehicles rolled over in the intersection, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. Two people, identified as a 23-year-old man and a 53-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the victims was driving the vehicle that rolled over, while the other was a passenger in the second vehicle.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
