Taylorsville, GA – Pedestrian Accident at Plant Bowen on Covered Bridge Rd
Taylorsville, GA (November 17, 2021) – At 2 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 17, a pedestrian accident occurred near a warehouse in Taylorsville.
According to police, the accident happened on Covered Bridge Road around Plant Bowen. A pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was walking in the area at the time. They were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. It is believed that the driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian was severely injured in the accident. They were rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
