Suwanee, GA – Tractor-Trailer Collision Leads to Injuries on I-985
Suwanee, GA (September 1, 2021) – At 8:50 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, September 1, a tractor-trailer collision occurred on a highway in Suwanee.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-985 around the area of I-85. According to police, the accident happened when a tractor-trailer and several other vehicles collided in the northbound lanes. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police issued a temporary red alert until the scene was cleared.
