Suwanee, GA – Injuries Reported in Truck Accident in NB Lanes of I-85
Suwanee, GA (December 16, 2021) – Before 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, December 16, a truck accident with injuries occurred in Suwanee.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 109, Old Peachtree Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes when a truck suddenly collided with one or more passenger vehicles. The vehicles involved in the accident sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared. Police urged those in the area to use Satellite Boulevard as an alternate route.
