Suwanee, GA – Car Accident with Injuries on I-85 Near Lawrenceville Suwanee Rd
Suwanee, GA (December 12, 2021) – At 4:31 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, December 12, a car accident with injuries occurred in Suwanee.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of exit 111, Lawrenceville Suwanee Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, three left lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
