Summerville, GA – Two-Vehicle Accident at Mahan Rd & Hair Lake Rd
Summerville, GA (April 2, 2021) – At 7:11 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, April 1, a two-vehicle accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Summerville.
According to Chattooga County officials, the collision happened at the intersection of Mahan Road and Hair Lake Road. Two vehicles collided with each other for reasons that are not fully known. One of the vehicles, identified as a white SUV, had extensive front-end damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
