Summerville, GA – Serious Truck Crash with Injuries on Wild Life Lake Rd
Summerville, GA (December 16, 2021) – On Wednesday morning, December 15, a serious truck crash with injuries occurred in Summerville.
According to Chattooga County officials, the accident happened near a curve in the road on Wild Life Lake Road. Two vehicles, one of which was a log truck, were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The log truck was struck so forcefully that it turned onto its side. Both vehicles sustained severe damages as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was severely injured as a result of the accident. They were rushed to the hospital by medical helicopter, though their current condition is not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
