Summerville, GA – Rollover Accident at Mahan Rd & Hair Lake Rd
Summerville, GA (July 8, 2021) – At 9:23 p.m. on the night of Wednesday, July 7, a rollover accident with injuries occurred in Summerville.
According to Chattooga County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mahan Road and Hair Lake Road. A vehicle was traveling in the area when the driver lost control, causing their vehicle to flip over several times. The vehicle was extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. A medical helicopter was called to the scene and one or more victims in the vehicle were taken to the hospital.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
