Summerville, GA – Rear-End Vehicle Accident on Hwy 114
Summerville, GA (October 19, 2021) – Around 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, October 19, a serious rear-end accident with injuries occurred in Summerville.
According to officials, the accident happened at 4400 Highway 114. One vehicle was traveling in the area when, for reasons that are not yet known, it rear-ended a second vehicle. The vehicles involved caught on fire due to the accident. Due to the severity of the damages, the vehicles had to be removed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several people were seriously injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area as police worked to clear the scene.
