Stonecrest, GA – Serious Car Crash on I-20 Near Panola Rd
Stonecrest, GA (May 29, 2021) – At 4 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, May 29, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Stonecrest.
According to DeKalb County officials, the collision happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Panola Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with a variety of injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
