Stonecrest, GA – Rollover Accident Leads to Injuries in SB Lanes of I-85
Stonecrest, GA (June 1, 2021) – At 6:55 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, June 1, a rollover accident occurred on a highway in Stonecrest.
According to Gwinnett County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Buford Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. One of the vehicles forcefully overturned onto its hood after rolling several times. The vehicle was left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were hospitalized with injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area, which led to delays.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
