Stonecrest, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Turner Hill Rd
Stonecrest, GA (June 7, 2021) – At 3 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, June 7, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Stonecrest.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Turner Hill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
One lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
