Stonecrest, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 Near Panola Rd
Stonecrest, GA (July 10, 2021) – At 11:39 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 10, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Stonecrest.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Panola Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more individuals were hurt and quickly taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
