Stonecrest, GA – Injuries in Car Crash on I-20 Near Turner Hil Rd
Stonecrest, GA (November 4, 2021) – At 7:54 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 4, a car crash with injuries occurred in Stonecrest.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Turner Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other, causing both vehicles to go off the side of the road. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area for some time as police worked to clear the scene. This led to delays for a period of time.
