Stonecrest, GA – Car Accident on Iris Dr Leads to Injuries
Stonecrest, GA (October 6, 2021) – At 3:54 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 6, a car accident with injuries occurred in Stonecrest.
According to authorities, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Iris Drive near the area of Turner Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in both lanes for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene. This led to delays for some time.
