Stonecrest, GA – Car Accident on I-20 Around Turner Hill Rd
Stonecrest, GA (August 15, 2021) – At 3:27 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, August 15, a car accident with injuries occurred in Stonecrest.
According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Turner Hill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
