Stonecrest, GA – Car Accident in WB Lanes of I-20 Near Panola Rd
Stonecrest, GA (June 2, 2021) – At 6:44 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, June 2, a car accident happened on a highway in Stonecrest.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Panola Road. Two or more vehicles collided in the area due to reasons that are not yet known, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
