Stonecrest, GA – Car Accident in WB Lanes of I-20 Near Evans Mill Rd
Stonecrest, GA (July 3, 2021) – At 2:36 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 3, a car accident occurred on a highway in Stonecrest.
According to local officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Evans Mill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
