Stonecrest, GA – Car Accident in EB Lanes of I-20 Near Turner Hill Rd
Stonecrest, GA (May 13, 2021) – At 5:10 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, May 13, a car accident took place on a highway in Stonecrest.
According to the DeKalb County Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-20 around the area of Turner Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
One lane of traffic was blocked in the area for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
