Stone Mtn, GA – Rollover Crash at Memorial Dr & Village Square Dr Intersection
Stone Mountain, GA (June 14, 2021) – At 10 a.m. on the morning of Monday, June 14, a serious rollover crash with injuries occurred in Stone Mountain.
According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Village Square Drive. Two vehicles were entering the intersection at the same time when they suddenly collided with each other. This caused one of the vehicles to roll over. The vehicles involved sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not known at this time.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
