Stone Mtn, GA – Car Crash at GA-78 & E Park Place Blvd Intersection
Stone Mountain, GA (August 23, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 23, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Stone Mountain.
According to Gwinnett County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-78 and East Park Place Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with one another at the intersection. Tow trucks were present at the scene to remove damaged vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
