Stone Mountain, GA (July 13, 2021) – At 7:45 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, July 13, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Marietta.
According to Marietta officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Covington Highway and South Indian Creek Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. This led to delays in the area.
