Stone Mtn, GA – Car Accident at Covington Hwy & Young Rd
Stone Mountain, GA (April 23, 2021) – At 5:16 a.m. on the morning of Friday, April 23, a car accident took place at an intersection in Stone Mountain.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Covington Highway and Young Road. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
