Stockbridge, GA – Tractor-Trailer Accident with Injuries on I-75
Stockbridge, GA (August 2, 2021) – At 6:41 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 2, a tractor-trailer accident with injuries occurred in Stockbridge.
According to police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Hudson Bridge Road. A tractor-trailer was driving in the area when it collided with one or more passenger vehicles. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for an extended period of time. This led to delays until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
