Stockbridge, GA – Car Accident in SB Lanes of I-75 Leads to Injuries
Stockbridge, GA (August 8, 2021) – At 4:47 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, August 8, a car accident happened in Stockbridge.
According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Central Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions and identities are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in two right lanes for a period of time until police worked to clear the scene. The damaged vehicles were towed from the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
